Bereng Jun – Kegiatan KKN merupakan suatu kegiatan yang wajib dilaksanakn oleh seluruh mahasiswa di setiap perguruan tinggi. KKN sendiri selalu dilakukan di desa-desa yang memiliki potensi bagi mahasiswa untuk melakukan sebuah kegiatan yang dapat membangun kemajuan desa dan menerapkan keilmuan dari berbagai fakultas.
Pada tanggal 11 Juli 2023, mahasiswa dari Universitas Palangka Raya yang termuat dalam Kelompok 52 di tugaskan di salah satu desa yang berada di Kabupaten Gunung Mas, Kecamatan Manuhing, Desa Bereng Jun. Pada kegiatan KKN tersebut, kelompok 52 melakukan sebuah kegiatan dalam ranah pendidikan yaitu dengan melaksanakan kegiatan sosialisasi terkait Karhutla serta ITC (Informasi Teknologi Komunikasi) dan Literasi Digital.
Dalam hal ini Kelompok 52 membuat 2 panlak untuk melaksanakan kegiatan tersebut, panlak pertama ditugaskan untuk melaksanakan kegiatan sosialisasi Karhutla di SD 1 Desa Bereng Jun yang menargetkan audiens dari kegiatan sosialisasi tersebut yaitu kelas 4,5,6 SD.
Kemudian panlak kedua ditugaskan untuk melaksanakan kegiatan sosialisasi terkait ITC dan Literasi Digital di Gedung Aula Desa yang target audiens adalah siswa/siswi kelas 7 dan 8 SMPN Satu Atap 1 Manuhing.
