Mengarah.com, DKI Jakarta – Gojek dan Tokopedia telah digugat ke Pengadilan Niaga Jakarta Pusat atas penggunaan salah satu nama perusahaan yaitu GoTo. “Menyatakan para tergugat telah melakukan pelanggaran ha katas merek GOTO milik pengugat”. Kemudian pengugat meminta majelis hakim untuk menghukum GoJek dan Tokopedia untuk membayar ganti rugi materil Rp. 1,83 triliun dan imateril senilai Rp.250 miliar dengan keseluruhan total Rp. 2,08 triliun
GoJek dan Tokopedia berkerjasama utuk membentuk aliansi kerja dengan nama GoTo. Namun group GoTo telah terdaftar dengan Nomor : IDM000858218 pada Dirjend Kekayaan Intlektual Kementrian Hukum dan HAM RI.
Selanjutnya Pengugat meminta untuk hakim dapat menghukum GoJek dan Tokopedia untuk menghentikan pengunaan merek GOTO beserta lainnya.
Perkara gugatan mengenai hak ini telah terdaftar di pengadilan sejak Selasa pada 2 November 2021. Gugatan sudah tercatat dengan nomor perkara 71/Pdt-HKI/Merek/2021/PN Niaga Jkt.Pst.
