Bereng Jun – Kelompok 52 Kuliah Kerja Nyata Tematik (KKN-T) Reguler Periode I melaksanakan program kerja pembangunan Infrastruktur sarana olahraga berupa lapangan badminton guna meningkatkan aktivitas masyarakat dalam berolahraga di Desa Bereng Jun, Kecamatan Manuhing, Kabupaten Gunung Mas.
Agenda program kerja pembangunan infrastruktur olahraga merupakan arah kiblat dalam tema KKN-T Reguler Periode I yaitu “Membangun Desa” sehingga dalam hal ini Kelompok 52 mengusung program kerja untuk membangun lapangan badminton sebagai sarana olahraga.
Pembangunan lapangan tersebut didasari dengan banyaknya minat kalangan masyarakat Desa Bereng Jun dalam permainan olahraga badminton. Selama pembangunan lapangan badminton juga di bantu oleh kordinator lapangan Kelompok 52 yaitu Bpk. Sender. Proses pengerjaan lapangan memakan waktu selama 2 hari, pembangunan tersebut berlokasi di Gedung Pertemuan Umum (GPU) Desa Bereng Jun.
Dengan adanya lapangan badminton yang berada di GPU Desa Bereng Jun, antusias dari kalangan masyarakat untuk bermain sangatlah tinggi. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dengan maraknya kalangan masyarakat bermain yang mana pada setiap harinya terdapat 5 orang lebih selalu bermain badminton di GPU Desa Bereng Jun.
Dari adanya pembangunan infrastruktur sarana olahraga berupa lapangan badminton membuat aktivitas di GPU Desa semakin hidup, sebelumnya tidak banyak aktivitas yang dilakukan di GPU Desa Bereng Jun oleh kalangan masyarakat. Sehingga hal tersebut menjadi indikator keberhasilan bagi Kelompok 52 bahwa pembangunan infrastruktur olahraga yang dilakukan sangat berdampak positif bagi masyarakat Desa Bereng Jun dan sesuai dengan kiblat dari tema KKN-T Reguler Periode I yaitu “Membangung Desa”.
