Pengertian Room Attendant
Pengertian Room Attendant adalah kelompok orang yang memiliki pekerjaan membersihkan dan memelihara kamar di hotel yang berada di bawah pengawasan departement Housekeeping.
Selain itu, seseorang yang bekerja di room attendant harus memiliki kualitas yang baik dari segi penampilan, tingkah laku serta kejujuran, pasalnya, room attendant menjadi faktor yang berpengaruh besar terhadap kepuasan tamu dalam pelayanan di sebuah hotel.
Pengertian Room Attendant Menurut Para Ahli
Menurut Rumesko, Room Attendant adalah petugas hotel Floor Section yang bertugas membersihkan kamar tamu, menjaga kerapihan, kenyamanan serta perlengkapan kamar tamu.
Menurut Agustinus Darsono, Room Attendant adalah petugas yang memiliki penampilan yang rapi dan baik, tingkah laku yang baik, jujur dan sopan santun kepada tamu maupun teman kerja lainnya.
Tugas Room Attendant
Tugas Room Attendant adalah membersihkan dan memelihara kamar tamu, menjaga kerapihan, kenyamanan dan melengkapi kebutuhan kamar tamu. Adapun tugas dan tanggung jawab dari seseorang yang bekerja di posisi Room Attendant, simak penjelasan nya.
Melayani tamu
Room Attendant merupakan salah satu posisi yang berada di bawah pengawasan housekeeping, dalam melayani tamu tentunya tidak ada batasan, karena tamu bisa saja meminta pelayanan di setiap waktu.
Memenuhi perintah dari atasan
Saat sedang bekerja, Room Attendant juga harus melaksanakan perintah dari atasan ketika diberikan tugas tambahan untuk keperluan kamar.
Kerja sama
Room Attendant harus memiliki kerja sama yang baik terhadap Room Attendant yang lain, ketika ada petugas yang telah selesai dalam bekerja, hendaklah membantu Room Attendant yang lain untuk menyelesaikan tugasnya.

• Melakukan absen di kantor housekeeping berupa tanda tangan di buku.
• Briefing.
• Melihat tugas masing masing Room Attendant
• Meminta Daftar Kamar yang ingin di bersihkan kepada supervisor
